"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is a song written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane. It was introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 MGM musical "Meet Me in St. Louis". In 1948 Frank Sinatra recorded the popular version with modified lyrics, which has become the standard version. Other covered versions are by Ella Fitzgerald (1960), Doris Day (1964), Barbra Streisand (1967), The Jackson Five (1970), The Muppets (1978, 2006), Christina Aguilera (2000), Coldplay (2001) and Bob Dylan (2009).
