How long is the Great Wall of China?

Explanation

The building of the Chinese Wall commenced all the way back in 500 BC. The largest part of the wall dates from 1300 to 1600. It was built to protect the Chinese Ming Dynasty against plundering by Turkish and Mongolian tribes. The Chinese Wall is 6400 km long and an often-heard myth is that the Chinese Wall can be viewed from space.
