Explanation

Depeche Mode is a British pop band formed in 1980 by, among others, Martin Gore on the synthesizer and David "Dave" Gahan as lead singer. The band had its international breakthrough with the single "People Are People" (1984) and arguably peaked commercially in 1993 with the album "Songs Of Faith And Devotion". After a pause, the band made a comeback with the album "Exciter" (2001), among others.
