How many players are on the ice for an ice hockey game?

Explanation

Ice hockey is played by two teams with 6 players each on the ice - a goalie and five field players. The aim is to score goals with a hard rubber disk, called a puck. The game is played in three periods of 20 minutes. Team sports where you hit an item with a curbed stick have been known for centuries.
